Think of all your online friends on November 17, 2016 because it is Electronic Greeting Card Day. That means there is perfect reason, far off from birthdays or holidays to send an e-card. The good thing about e-cards is that they safe paper and their colors do not pale. Also you do not need to know the real address of someone, because you only ne an email address.
Sometimes e-cards come along with animations and sounds, too. It is unclear who invented Electronic Greeting Card Day and when but it cannot be too long ago as e-cards exist since 1994. Back then Judith Donath was the author of the first e-card service called The Electronic Postcard.
