International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism 2026

Acts of terrorism injure, harm and kill thousands of people every year and therefore the United Nations has proclaimed August 21, 2026
as International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism. The Day commemorates the victims and their families and further protect their human rights. It is celebrated annually and has been established in 2017.
