International Girls in ICT Day 2027

International Girls in ICT Day is celebrated on the fourth Thursday in April, so in 2027 on April 22. Established by the International Telecommunication Union in 2011, this day encourages girls and young women to pursue careers in information and communications technology (ICT).

International Girls in ICT Day seeks to break down barriers and inspire more female participation in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields. Through workshops, mentorship programs, and campaigns, the day highlights opportunities in ICT and showcases role models, fostering confidence and interest among girls to explore these fields.
