On June 25, 2027 Croatia celebrates the liberation from Yugoslavia with the Statehood Day of Croatia or, as it also is called, Croatian National Day. In 1991 a majority of 94% of the Croatian citizens voted for Croatia to be an independent and sovereign state, capable of forming alliances with other states. The festivities on this important Croatian public holiday consists of a military parade in the country’s capital Zagreb, organized by the government. Also conferences with the parliament and other gatherings are held, to talk about Croatia’s national and global issues.
