The International Day for the Prevention of and Fight against All Forms of Transnational Organized Crime is observed on November 15, 2025. It was proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in 2023 and has been marked annually since 2024.
The purpose of the day is to raise awareness of the serious impact of transnational organized crime, including human trafficking, smuggling, drug trade, cybercrime and environmental crimes. It emphasizes the need for global cooperation in prevention, enforcement and legal frameworks.
The International Day for the Prevention of and Fight against All Forms of Transnational Organized Crime promotes capacity-building, international coordination and public awareness. The United Nations encourages governments and organizations to strengthen action against all forms of organized crime.
