Cow Appreciation Day 2017

July 14, 2017 in the World

Cow Appreciation Day takes place on July 14, 2017. It is a day to remind us how integral cows are to our daily life. In some regions, such as parts of India, cows have significant religious meaning. Cows are sometimes considered as the oldest form of wealth. Cattle today are the basis of a multi-billion dollar industry worldwide.

The production of milk, which is also made into cheese, butter, and other dairy products, is comparable in economic size to beef production, and provides an important part of the food supply. To celebrate Cow Appreciation Day you can either enjoy some dairy products or stop using cow products for a day.
